JULY 2010 — I’m delighted to report that I have been invited to join the Board for AXIS Dance Company. If you haven’t had an opportunity to catch one of their electric performances, you must see them this fall in Oakland for ODD, “an evening-length performance in collaboration with choreographer Shinichi Iova-Koga/inkBoat with original composition and live performance by cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, all inspiried by Icelandic artist Odd Nerdrum.” You won't be disappointed. JUNE 2010 — My family and I had a blast at Streetside Stories' recent Volunteer Appreciation Grill-out! I was being honored as a Volunteer of the Month for my work over the years on their award-winning website — and am currently helping them update and widen the site, so stay-tuned for that. Thank you Streetside! Also in the works: a new blog and website for cookbook author, Vanessa Barrington. Judging by the look the advance copy of her beautiful new book, DYI Delicious, it's a winner. Check back here to see when these refreshed sites are launched! MARCH 2010 — Just launched: the official website for Joaquin Miller Elementary School. JM's website had outgrown its structure over the years, making its wealth of content difficult to navigate and find. I completely reorganized and redesigned the site to meet modern standards and reflect the school's vibrant community. DECEMBER 2009 — Just launched: Mary and Sara - Cooking Thymes Two, a website and blog by Mary Corpening Barber and Sara Corpening Whiteford, identical twin sisters who write amazing cookbooks. They'll be blogging yummy recipes weekly, starting with an amazing egg nog, so check them out. |
